Meet the soldiers of Islam
For an introduction to the 21st century soldiers of Islam, we need to go far deeper than the following analysis. However, this could be a teaser for understanding those who are supposedly putting their lives at stake for Muslims and Islam
By Abid Ullah Jan
It seems everything has turned upside down in the 21st century. We are made to believe that devote Muslims, are so committed to their religion that they do not hesitate laying their lives for Muslims and Islam, actually do not practice Islam as it is prescribed in the Qur’an and the life of Prophet Mohammed (PBUH).
Take the example of the lead terrorist in the recent Mumbai attacks. Look at the pictures on the right. This “Islamic” or “Islamist” terrorist – as the mainstream media wants us to believe – tied a red threat or band around the wrist, which is a Hindu practice.
This band is called Kalava (Sanskrit: कलावा) is the sacred Hindu thread. So this devote Muslim found it necessary to put the Hindu sacred thread around his wrist before going to Allah to get 72 virgins for his “noble deeds” of killing innocent civilians. Believe it or not, this is the kind of conclusion we can see from what the mainstream media wants us to believe.
If this is not correct, one wonders why a devote, brain-washed Muslim, found it necessary to put Hindu mauli (in hindi) around his wrist while going out to face certain death? Did he go to perform Hindu rituals such as Yajna or Puja before going out for the indiscriminate killing?
Let us assume, this terrorist had enough knowledge of Hindu religion and he put Kalava on the right hand (Kalava is tied on right hand of males and unmarried females, and on left hand of married females) for disguise.
However, we can’t buy this co-incidence because all the alleged hijackers of 9/11 were also engaged in several un-Islamic deeds long before the 9/11 attack. That was their way of life. That was how they lived. They were not disguising all long. They were supposed to be devote Muslims, radicalized enough to take their lives for Islam. However, we see their lives lived to the contrary.
Lifestyle of the alleged hijackers tell us that they were not religious fanatics or radicals, bent upon sacrificing their lives for Islam. They didn’t hate American way of life. They didn’t hate American freedom. Just days before 9/11, Atta and Marwan al-Shehhi (another of the alleged suicide-pilots) spent the evening drinking heavily at a bar in Fort Lauderdale. The bar’s manager later told reporters that the men “got wasted,” drinking “Stolichnaya and orange juice, and Captain Morgan’s spiced rum and Coke.” Bartender Patricia Idrissi concurred, saying: “Atta drank Stoli vodka for three straight hours. They were wasted.” [See. Afghanistan: The Genesis of the final crusade]
Amanda Keller describes a typical night out at a club with Atta: “Marwan [al-Shehhi] was in the reggae room drinking with a bunch of women at the bar, there were a lot of women around him, and he was just flaunting money.” As Hopsicker points out: “It’s one thing to hear Atta described as living it up with wine, women and song. But Marwan flaunting money at the bar pretty much puts the lie to the ‘Islamic fundamentalist’ tag.” So much for the “Islamic fundamentalists” who hated American “way of life” and were ready to give their life in a global Jihad against the United States. Were they disguising all along too? Is it possible.
The life sketches of the alleged hijackers tell us that that was their way of life. No where were they reported to be visiting mosques, Islamic centres, buying Islamic books and other material or spewing hatred against the American way of life.

One of the first and most frequently told stories about the hijackers is their visit to Shuckums, a sports bar in Hollywood, Florida, on this day. What is particularly interesting about this story is how it has changed over time. In the original story, first reported on September 12 [ASSOCIATED PRESS, 9/12/2001] , Mohamed Atta, Marwan Alshehhi, and an unidentified man come into the restaurant already drunk. “They were wasted,” says bartender Patricia Idrissi, who directs them to a nearby Chinese resta
urant. [ST. PETERSBURG TIMES, 9/13/2001] Later they return and drink—Atta orders five vodka and orange juices, while Alshehhi orders five rum and Cokes. [TIME, 9/24/2001] According to manager Tony Amos, “The guy Mohamed was drunk, his voice was slurred and he had a thick accent.” Idrissi says they argue about the bill, and when she asks if there was a problem, “Mohamed said he worked for American Airlines and he could pay his bill.” [ASSOCIATED PRESS, 9/12/2001] This story was widely reported through much of September. [NEW YORK TIMES, 9/13/2001; SOUTH FLORIDA SUN-SENTINEL, 9/15/2001; SUNDAY HERALD (GLASGOW), 9/16/2001; MIAMI HERALD, 9/22/2001; NEWSWEEK, 9/24/2001; TIME, 9/24/2001] However, beginning on September 15, a second story appears. [TORONTO STAR, 9/15/2001] This story is similar to the first, except that here, Atta is playing video games and drinking cranberry juice instead of vodka, and Alshehhi is the one who argues over the bill and pays. After some coexistence, the second story seems to have become predominant in later September. [See: WASHINGTON POST, 9/16/2001; WASHINGTON POST, 9/22/2001; LOS ANGELES TIMES, 9/27/2001; ST. PETERSBURG TIMES, 9/27/2001; AUSTRALIAN BROADCASTING CORPORATION, 11/12/2001; SUNDAY TIMES (LONDON), 2/3/2002]
Hijackers Spend Hundreds of Dollars on Porn and Sex Toys
Hijackers Hamza Alghamdi and Marwan Alshehhi make two purchases of “pornographic video and sex toys” from a Florida store. They spend $252.17 on videos and toys at Video Outlet in Deerfield Beach on July 4, then return on July 27 and spend another $183.22. [FEDERAL BUREAU OF INVESTIGATION, 10/2001, PP. 176, 178, 196, 198 ] These two and other hijackers are also reported to attend strip shows, watch porn, and use an escort service (see Before September 11, 2001 and September 7-11, 2001).
Interesting, the intelligence agencies did raid several mosques and Muslim centres in the post 9/11 period, but we never heard of the suspicious Muslim terrorists arrested from bars, night clubs, sex-toyshops, strip clubs. Whereas these are the exact places where the “terrorists” behind 9/11 actually hanged around.
More interestingly, not only the alleged hijackers were frequent visitors to night clubs and stripper joints, those who had discussions about their plans were also in similar places.
In the Pink Pony strip club in Daytona Beach, Florida the night before the 9/11 attacks, three men make anti-American sentiments and talk of impending bloodshed. One says, “Wait ‘til tomorrow. America is going to see bloodshed.” These are not any of the hijackers, since they had all left Florida by this time, but it is suspected these men knew the hijackers. [See: ASSOCIATED PRESS, 9/14/2001; MSNBC, 9/23/2001] Mohamed Atta is said to have regularly frequented the same bar.
Let us assume the devote Muslim hijackers were engaged in anti-Islamic practices but they were planning to seek forgiveness during the last days of their lives. That is not the case either. As you can see fromt eh timeline below, they have been drinking, going out to stip clubs and spending money on buying porn videos even the day before going to heavens to claim their reward from God.
- A number of the hijackers apparently drink alcohol heavily in bars, sleep with prostitutes, and watch strip shows in the US in the months and especially the days leading up to 9/11.
In late February 2001, hijacker Ziad Jarrah frequents a strip club in Jacksonville, Florida (see February 25-March 4, 2001).
- In July 2001, hijackers Hamza Alghamdi and Marwan Alshehhi make two purchases of “pornographic video and sex toys” from a Florida store (see July 4-27, 2001).
Some hijackers, including possibly Satam Al Suqami and Waleed and Wail Alshehri, sleep with prostitutes in the days before 9/11 (see September 7-11, 2001).
- On September 10, 2001, three hijacker associates spend $200 to $300 apiece on lap dances and drinks in the Pink Pony, a Daytona Beach, Florida strip club. While the hijackers had left Florida by this time, Mohamed Atta is reported to have visited the same strip club, and these men appear to have had foreknowledge of the 9/11 attacks (see September 10, 2001). [Boston Herald, 10/10/2001]
- Marwan Alshehhi and Mohamed Atta are seen entering the Hollywood, Florida, sports bar Shuckums already drunk. They proceed to drink even more hard alcohol there (see September 7, 2001).
Atta and Alshehhi are seen at Sunrise 251, a bar in Palm Beach, Florida. They spend $1,000 in 45 minutes on Krug and Perrier-Jouet champagne. Atta is with a tall busty brunette in her late twenties; Alshehhi is with a shortish blonde. Both women are known locally as regular companions of high-rollers. [Daily Mail, 9/16/2001]
- A stripper at the Olympic Garden Topless Cabaret in Las Vegas, Nevada, later recalls Marwan Alshehhi being “cheap,” paying only $20 for a lap dance. [Cox News Service, 10/16/2001]
Several hijackers reportedly patronize the Nardone’s Go-Go Bar in Elizabeth, New Jersey. They are even seen there on the weekend before 9/11. [Boston Herald, 10/10/2001; Wall Street Journal, 10/16/2001]
- Majed Moqed visits a porn shop on three occasions, and rents a porn video. The mayor of Paterson, New Jersey, later says of the six hijackers who stayed there: “Nobody ever saw them at mosques, but they liked the go-go clubs.” [Newsday, 9/23/2001; Newsweek, 10/15/2001]
Nawaf Alhazmi and Khalid Almihdhar often frequent Cheetah’s, a nude bar in San Diego. [Los Angeles Times, 9/1/2002]
- Marwan Alshehhi is possibly seen in the Cheetah nightclub in Pompado Beach, Florida, on July 1, 2001. Six dancers who work there later claim to have seen him. [Federal Bureau of Investigation, 10/2001, pp. 173 ]
- Hamza Alghamdi watches a porn video on September 10, 2001. [Wall Street Journal, 10/16/2001]
University of Florida religion professor Richard Foltz later states, “It is incomprehensible that a person could drink and go to a strip bar one night, then kill themselves the next day in the name of Islam… People who would kill themselves for their faith would come from very strict Islamic ideology. Something here does not add up.” [South Florida Sun-Sentinel, 9/16/2001]
The story of fanatic Muslims from 9/11 to Mumbai tells that there is something fundamentally wrong with what we are being told. These terrorist could be anything but Muslims. It is absolutely impossible that a person will be living un-Islamic life all along and then all of a sudden would go fanatic for Islam to the extent that he would put his life at stake.
These are patsies, agents and double agents, mostly unaware that they will be consumed in the game they have agreed to play, but they cannot be Muslims, hoping to get tot paradise through un-Islamic deeds and ending their life with the most despised acts in Islam – taking life of innocent people. According to Islam, if you take life of one innocent person, it is like taking the life of humanity.
“if anyone killed a person not in retaliation of murder, or (and) to spread mischief in the land - it would be as if he killed all mankind, and if anyone saved a life, it would be as if he saved the life of all mankind..”(5 :32)
The Prophet Mohammed (PBUH) said,
“I warn you of extremism in the Religion for indeed those that came before you were destroyed due to their extremism in the religion.” Reported by an-Nasaa’ee (5/268), ibn Maajah (no. 3029), Ahmad (1/215, 347) with a saheeh sanad.
Are we to believe that the terrorist chose to violate these basic principles of Islam before giving up their lives for Islam. Some non-Muslims might be duped with the propaganda in this regard, but Muslims know that these terrorists could be anything but devote Muslims with a mission for Muslims and Islam.
